I have so many photos and stories I think I should share, but every time I sit down at my computer I think "I have been this all day. Instead, I think I will ___________." ... and I fill in the blank with alternatives that I find preferrable ("randomly yell at everybody", "run with scissors", "see how many bruises I get skipping through the house with a blindfold on", "bury myself up to the neck near an ant hill and pour honey on my head", etc.
I promise that, one day, I will repent and share things that ought to be shared.
But, in the meantime, I cracked myself up at work and just had to share it.
Some time ago, I proudly (arrogantly?) took a selfie of me holding a copy of the latest publishing effort of the history of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I did that because, without my amazing services, the book might have taken a bit longer to get out and someone else would have had to be the DBA on the team providing digital access to some of the links. So, I'm not even close to indispensable. But, still, I'm very happy to be part of this.
By the way, the first volume of Saints is awesome, and I highly recommend it.
Anyway, in one of our conference rooms, I saw the word "saints" and there was a little oval over the top of it. This morning, I thought, "I can do better than that!" And I drew this:
And I cracked myself up. I have no idea how many people will even get it.
