Once Upon A Mattress (March 2018)

Last year, I only posted a few rehearsal pictures of Central Davis Junior High's production of Once Upon A Mattress. That is partly because I don't have many good pictures. But, I figured I better put a few here.
Andrew was very funny and had a good time as the Wizard. Lucy had a good time time too as an unnamed cast member (she is in the red skirt).
I put this photo in not just to highlight Andrew. I still marvel at how beautiful and realistic the "marble" floor was that the set painters painted on the Ram Board flooring we put over the top of the basketball floor. They also painted the bricks over the thin Lauan plywood sheeting we used for the castle.
One of the running gags is that the Wizard is in every scene.
Lucy proudly tooted her own horn every night, even without a named part.
I tore my bicep for this set, and I'm proud of it.
One of Andrew's funniest scenes.
Andrew really, really ...
... gets in character.
Finishing up the bicep-tearing set.
Jeff Larkin. The Man.
The "Princess" cast.
