Do You Favor Fire or Is Ice Nice?

Just before Christmas, Miriam did some pretty cool make-up on herself and Lucy. I took a few pictures. One of them I took with a clouded sun directly behind them, just for the halibut. And I really like the photo! I think it looks terrific:

This mini photo-shoot reminded me of one of my favorite poems by Robert Frost:

Some say the world will end in fire,

Some say in ice.

From what I've tasted of desire

I hold with those who favor fire.

But if it had to perish twice,

I think I know enough of hate

To say that for destruction ice

Is also great

And would suffice.
