... so his parents grounded him. He is currently doing okay and conducting himself properly.
(Badum Bum!)
I heard this as a "dad joke" and that I could ... amp it up.
You probably saw my little Marco Polo post about Lucy and Rachel, and Lucy's participation with Excalibur at the high school. I thought I'd share the performances, in case you are interested. Measure Me, Sky! made me tear up both times I heard it! Thanks to Lucy and Rachel for recording their performances while I ran Joshua to his tournament. I was then able to be there for the Excalibur performance.

Measure Me, Sky!
If you made it all the way here and just feel like you need to linger longer, then here are some brief notes I will share.
Our home phone DC converter shorted out twice. I decided I better check the outlet, which is behind our refrigerator. Here is what it looked like. Yikes. I think I have taken care of it. But, if our house burns down, maybe not.
This is what the front room looks like in Miriam's new apartment in Orem.
Joshua's team usually "plays up", playing high school teams. They often lose. But Saturday, they participated in a middle school tournament and won 5 of 7 games and took 3rd place. Well done!
A few Sundays ago, Enoch wanted to pass by me in our pew at sacrament meeting to sit by Lucy. I sometimes liken Enoch to a tapeworm -- his snuggling I think is a little more akin to burrowing, and he loves to snuggle/burrow. So, in this instance, I asked him to sit by me instead, as his burrowing sometimes annoys Lucy, his favorite to burrow with.
Enoch said, "But, Dad, you are no fun to cuddle with!"
"Oh? Why not?"
"Because you aren't annoyed when I cuddle!" And he gave me a big smile and a laugh!
