This is our excitement tonight:
Folks on the scene told me that the leak was located, Blue Stakes was called to mark everything up so they could start digging. Because I am impish, I offered my tent to the folks on the scene, who are neighbors that can't go to their homes.
Twenty-one homes near the intersection of 2550 East and 3300 North, as well as Mountain View Baptist Church, are currently under an evacuation order due to a natural gas leak that migrated into the storm drains, according to a tweet from Layton City shortly after 8:30 p.m.

I actually didn't get home until after all this happened, because I was late at work and just about one minute after I left I heard grinding underneath my car because:
I got off Bangerter Hwy as quickly as I could and pulled into a park's parking lot. I called Susan to tell her I would probably get an Uber ride to the train station when a fellow I barely know, but recognized, pulled up. He previously worked on a team near mine, and had come to toss a disc around with his son and asked what was up. I got a ride with him to the train station. Susie picked me up at around a quarter to nine. I'll deal with my naughty Honda tomorrow.
I have another email I started about 5 days ago and never finished. I'll try.
I loved seeing Isaac and Gideon this weekend at Nathan Rosenvall's homecoming. What a great meeting. What a great person. What a great blessing.
Ciao!
