O+ Dear!

I still haven't gotten around to posting on the blog our Valentine's Day Party pictures. Sorry.

Friday, Susan hurt her back. She had spasms Saturday afternoon and couldn't go with Rachel to her Federation performance this afternoon. Ow.

While she was suffering, I went the the armory at Central Davis to help construct the castle for the next musical, and I apparently tore my bicep. I don't think it is completely detached from the tendon, but man it hurt. My left arm isn't very useful right now, but it did feel better today. I see a specialist tomorrow morning.

The children helped their invalid parents fix dinner Saturday night.

Did you know that people with type O blood are more likely to rupture tendons and muscles? No fair. I'm O+.

Miriam spoke in church yesterday and did a very nice job.

Before I close, I want to share an Estherism and an Enochism that I have remembered.

When I was home after a doctor's visit one weekday, I took Susie and Esther to Bajios, one of Susie's favorites. Esther likes it, too, and exclaimed that she wanted to go to "Barfios". I suspect a mischievous child suggested that pronunciation.

Yesterday, at dinner time as we had the children tell us what they learned about at church, Enoch told us that he learned about "normal Jesus." We all got the giggles. I think he meant that it wasn't about baby Jesus. I loved the sound of it, though.

Braking News: Hannah said her brakes are out. Hang in there, girl!

I'll close with two bits of humor I bumped into at work on my co-workers door.

My wife said, "You didn't hear a word I said, did you?" What a weird way to start a conversation.

  1. I changed the title to "O+ Dear". My blood type is O+. I like it better!
