our new house

Our house is almost livable now. Sorry I don't have any really great before and after pictures to show just how filthy and disgusting the house was when we bought it.... but believe me, it was. What I do have are some before and after pics of what it looked like after we had ripped out the carpet and began repainting comparing to what it looks like now.

Here is one before and after set, taken from about the same vantage point-

Also, did I mention that I graduated?

  1. Huzzah! That was quite a lot of work. I wanted to come help you do some of the work but couldn't get away (we started moving stuff over to our new home on Saturday). May the force be with you.

So, did you decide to keep the half-dozen or so garage door buttons or did you just go with the standard?

  2. Well, we struggled with that decision, but ultimately we opted to go with the standard keypad and remotes... Half a dozen buttons scattered in random locations would half advantages and disadvantages.

(but wait til after september or october unless you wanted to sweat off some weight while your here!)
