please comment
so, i guess we are good at looking at the pictures, but not READING the blog (except, of course, Dave). so, in my last entry, i mentioned a family reunion in the winter in phoenix. anyone up for it? dave suggested in January. i'd really like to know if you guys would all try to come. i could find people to let family members stay with, or yards to camp in....or maybe find a place for us all to go camping. i could see if i could find a heated pool to use, etc. let me know if you think you'd want to get out of the snow....and when. let's discuss it. (that is what the blog is for, right?) love you!!!

I think it sounds great, but I'm not sure we would be able to do it. That is partially why i didn't respond quickly (although i must admit that I have my hands full nearly all the time!). I think we would be more likely to do it if it were February or something. But because of our house payment and fixing up so much we are super tight with money now. However, if everyone else would plan to go, we certainly we try our darndest to be there. So I guess that means I am for the idea if everyone is in.

Susan reminds me that we will have a little one, so we probably would have to do it late in January or February.
ReplyDeleteI don't know what our thinking will be in January, but right now I am already trying to think of a vacation in January or February with the family. So, even a Benge Reunion doesn't materialize, we may come party with you anyway. But, the more the merrier!
Cherrie and I are going to be in serious need of a vacation about then. Cherrie and I are both in school through the winter, so I don't know how our respective school vacations will correspond. We will definitely WANT to have a vacation about then, but i don't know that we will really be able to pull it off, but we would definitely try.

Sounds like February is the vote. I will see what I can find out about things to do...rent...borrow...etc. around here and let you know what i come up with.
